Job summary

Shopko Optical in Green Bay, WI is seeking a seasoned Construction Project Manager to plan, coordinate, and deliver new-store and remodel projects from preconstruction through closeout. You will serve as the primary contact for contractors, suppliers, inspectors, architects, and internal partners, managing schedule, cost, quality, safety, and compliance to ensure on-time, on-budget store delivery.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Architecture, Building Science, Engineering, Construction Management or related field.
• Experience leading construction of multiple retail outlets simultaneously.
• Strong knowledge of construction methods, codes, and safety requirements.
• Ability to interpret drawings and contracts for internal/external partners.
• Proven leadership and cross-functional coordination across stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Direct and oversee multiple new-store and remodel projects from start to finish.
• Attend meetings, conduct site visits, and manage progress through closeout.
• Serve as primary company contact at active worksites for contractors and inspectors.
• Maintain project progress, respond to delays, and track issues.
• Prepare budgets, schedules, SOWs, and monitor contract obligations.
• Coordinate with planning, architects, engineers, and vendors throughout delivery.
• Ensure health, safety, and regulatory compliance on all sites.
