Job summary

BELFOR USA Group, Inc. is seeking an Estimator to create and manage estimates for residential, commercial, and industrial projects. The role involves meeting clients, developing accurate estimates with Xactimate, and guiding jobs from inception to completion.

Responsibilities include maintaining client relationships, preparing floor plans in Xactimate Sketch, reviewing invoices, and ensuring costs are captured monthly. Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving are essential.

Qualifications

• English literacy and fluency.
• MSDS data sheets and applicability to jobs knowledge.
• Use BELFOR Estimate Format Standards for Xactimate estimates and proposals.
• Extensive customer service experience.
• Advanced Microsoft Office skills and Xactimate experience.
• Professional demeanor and appearance; excellent telephone skills.
• Ability to work well with others and maintain professional interactions.

Responsibilities

• Establish and maintain local clientele to refer losses.
• Create accurate floor plans in Xactimate Sketch.
• Coordinate after-hours emergency services as directed (board-ups, water, fire, vandalism).
• Develop budgets and adhere to them; address overages as needed.
• Review invoices and labor to ensure costs are included in monthly job costs.
• Maintain safety and vehicle inspections; keep a clean, serviceable vehicle.
