Job summary

Panera is seeking a Sr. Analyst for Restaurant Technology Hardware to lead evaluation and deployment of café hardware platforms. You will partner with Product Management, Deployment, Supply Chain, Operations, and vendors to ensure successful implementations and ongoing support across Panera cafés.

The role focuses on lifecycle management, validation, and reference designs, with hybrid work in St. Louis, MO.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in a technical field or equivalent experience.
5–8 years supporting restaurant technology hardware or similar environments.
Experience designing, implementing, or supporting retail hardware in operations.
Experience across hardware lifecycles: evaluation, testing, deployment, production support.
Strong understanding of systems integration, device management, networks, and apps.
Experience with vendor engagement for hardware evaluation and deployment.

Responsibilities

Support evaluation, validation, and recommendation of hardware platforms and peripherals.
Develop and maintain hardware standards, reference designs, and deployment docs.
Create hardware implementation guides, field procedures, and reference materials.
Collaborate with vendors and deployment teams for forecasting, inventory, and lifecycle planning.
Support hardware lifecycle activities from design to sustainment and production rollout.
Act as a technical liaison with vendors for evaluation and issue resolution.
Collect field feedback to improve deployment processes and supportability.
Enforce security, device management, and enterprise standards across hardware solutions.
Participate in design reviews, architecture discussions, and validation activities.
Drive continuous improvement of hardware performance and reliability.
