Panera Bread is seeking a Hardware Solutions Analyst to support evaluation, testing, deployment, sustainment, and lifecycle management of restaurant technology hardware across Panera cafés. Location: St.

Louis, MO with a hybrid work model. The role partners with Product Management, Deployment, Supply Chain, Operations, and vendors to ensure successful implementation and ongoing support of hardware platforms.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, MIS, or related field; equivalent combination of education and experience will be considered.
• 5-8 years of experience supporting restaurant technology, hardware deployment, or related IT environments.
• Demonstrated experience designing, implementing, or supporting retail hardware and device-based technology solutions in operational environments.
• Experience with hardware solution lifecycles including evaluation, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong understanding of systems integration across hardware platforms, operating systems, device management, networking, and enterprise applications.
• Experience with vendor partners for hardware evaluation, deployment support, and lifecycle management.
• Demonstrated ability to provide technical recommendations and drive initiatives to completion.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills across technical and non-technical audiences.

Aufgaben

• Evaluate hardware platforms, peripherals, and supporting technologies for scalability, reliability, and security.
• Develop and maintain hardware standards, reference designs, and deployment documentation.
• Create and maintain installation guides, field procedures, and deployment standards.
• Collaborate with vendors and Deployment teams on hardware forecasting and lifecycle replacement.
• Support end-to-end hardware lifecycle activities from design to sustainment.
• Serve as technical liaison with vendor partners for technology evaluation and issue resolution.
• Collect field feedback to identify recurring issues and improve deployment processes.
• Ensure security and device management standards across hardware solutions.
• Participate in design reviews and solution validation across initiatives.
• Drive continuous improvement of hardware performance and supportability through testing and RCA.
