Job summary

Water Grill Los Angeles is seeking a Senior Restaurant Manager to lead front-of-house operations and partner with the kitchen to deliver exceptional hospitality. You will coach the team, uphold service standards, and ensure a smooth daily flow from guest relations to financial controls.

The role requires 4 years of management experience in high-volume settings, flexible scheduling, and a commitment to training and developing crew.

Qualifications

• Four years of experience as a Manager in any industry.
• Two years of experience as a Manager in full service, high volume restaurant.
• Flexible schedule required—able to work nights, weekends and holidays.
• College degree in a related field preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversees the daily operations from ordering, purchasing, receiving, storage, and preparation of all food products to guest relations, flow of business, and service standards.
• Oversees the flow of the business during business hours, active in all restaurant areas to ensure standards are met and course-correct when needed.
• Responsible for financial operations of the restaurant: cash handling, invoices, vendor relations, and budgeting.
• Responsible for all human resources related to the crew.
• Writes schedules for one or more workgroups and participates in interviews and selection of new crew.
• Participates in developing incentive programs, driving sales and marketing services.
• Ensures all food products meet company recipe specifications for preparation and quality.
