Job Summary
The Senior Restaurant Manager oversees all front-of-house functions, ensuring compliance with established procedures and directives from the Operating Partner. This is a lead management role in the front of house.
Job Responsibilities
- Supervise and train Hospitality Team Members
- Communicate clearly with team members, management, and guests
- Create staff schedules
- Conduct pre-shift meetings to set daily goals
- Ensure staff adhere to dress code and safety guidelines
- Support inventory management
- Manage controllable expenses
- Assign and complete side work
- Handle staff check-outs
- Maintain a clean and safe environment
- Address guest service issues professionally
- Lead by example and inspire the team
- Stand and walk for 8-10 hours per shift
- Lift objects up to 50 lbs and operate kitchen equipment safely
Job Requirements
- Minimum 3 years of restaurant management experience
- Experience in high-volume, fast-paced environments
- Mentoring and training skills
- Strong communication and conflict resolution skills
Preferences
- Experience in casual or upscale dining
- Experience in a corporate restaurant chain
- Knowledge of inventory, cost control, and financial management
