Qualifications

• Licensed Respiratory Therapist in the state of Georgia (Respiratory Care Professional).
• Associates degree required/preferred.
• Successful completion of registry examination.

Responsibilities

• Communicates with nurses on patient care issues and ventilator changes.
• Documents treatments, ABG results, and medications in EMR.
• Manages ventilator settings and analyzes patient data for care decisions.
• Provides patient education and supports floor and critical care care as needed.
• Gives shift reports at bedside and participates in unit practice councils.
