Rumford Hospital is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to provide respiratory therapy and diagnostic services under medical direction. Qualifications

• Current RCP license in the state
• RRT certification from NBRC or within 3 months of hire
• BLS certification upon hire and maintain current
• ACLS certification upon hire and maintain current
• PALS certification preferred
• NRP certification preferred
• Associate or BS degree preferred
• 2 years acute care experience preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with attention to age/population needs.
• May serve as Lead RCP and oversee section/department during shift.

Education

State Respiratory Care Practitioner license

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) NBRC

Basic Life Support (BLS)

Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)

Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)

Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP)

Associate Degree or Bachelor of Science

2 years acute care experience (preferred)
