Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within 3 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certified from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certificate preferred.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certificate preferred.
• Associate or Bachelor degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Lead RCP during shift when identified, and oversee section during the shift.
• Assess, plan, implement, and document patient care with attention to age/population needs.
