Job summary

Memorial Hermann Health System in Stafford, TX is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to join a 40-hour weekly, 8-hour shift team. The role emphasizes leadership in respiratory care within adult, pediatric and neonatal settings, with a focus on quality patient care and ongoing education.

Ideal candidates have a Bachelor’s degree, CRT with license in good standing, and 3+ years of RCP experience, including critical care.

Qualifications

• Education: Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• Licenses: CRT; RRT preferred; current Respiratory Care Practitioner license.
• Certifications: BLS; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred or BLS Instructor.
• Experience: 3+ years RCP; NICU, pediatric and adult care experience.
• Heavy lifting up to 50 pounds; prolonged standing and walking.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory care procedures and administer gases and medications.
• Assess patients and interpret arterial blood gases and related tests.
• Follow physician orders and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Provide education to patients and families; maintain accurate records.
• Ensure safety, quality, and adherence to policies within budget.
