Candidates should hold a CRT; RRT is preferred, with an active Texas license and BCLS/ACLS or equivalent. Four years of critical care experience are preferred, joining a dedicated team focused on safe, compassionate care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• CRT required; RRT preferred.
• Current Texas license as Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP). CPR/BCLS and one of ACLS/PALS/NRP or related certifications.

Responsibilities

• Performs respiratory care procedures including arterial blood gases, ventilator management and related therapies.
• Assess patients, interpret results and adjust treatment plans under physician orders.
• Educates patients and families; participates in department CQI and quality initiatives.
• Collaborates with physicians and staff to ensure safe, efficient care in critical and non-critical units.
