Qualifications

• RRT certification is required and licensure in Texas or eligibility is necessary.
• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in critical care.
• Bachelor’s degree in respiratory care is preferred.
• Excellent oral and written communication skills.
• Experience in interdisciplinary teams is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Plans, coordinates, and directs activities to optimize departmental throughput.
• Collaborates with nursing, lab and radiology to ensure timely patient care.
• Serves as a mentor/coach to staff and participates in performance reviews.
• Upholds safety, quality and service standards in patient care.
• Supports professional growth and continuous improvement initiatives.
