Qualifications

• Associate degree in Respiratory Therapy or equivalent required.
• California State provisional license eligible and current status upon hire.
• CPR, ACLS, PALS and NRP certifications required or in place.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) or eligibility preferred.
• Neonatal and pediatric specialty competencies desirable.

Responsibilities

• Integrates patient data to formulate a care plan aligned with standards.
• CPAP and in-house transport of ventilated patients.
• Conducts comprehensive cardiopulmonary assessments and documents SBAR.
• Performs daily pulmonary mechanics on ventilated patients.
• Collects data and participates in ventilator weaning rounds.
• Assists with bronchoscopy and bedside pulmonary function tests.
