Job summary

Medical University Hospital Authority (MUHA) is seeking a Respiratory Therapist 2 to provide ventillation support, oxygen therapy, and patient-specific respiratory care for adolescent and adult patients. The RT2 reports to the RTSL and Adult Respiratory Manager, and plays a key role in evaluation and therapy adjustment.

The position requires CoARC-approved education, SC licensure as a respiratory care practitioner, NBRC-RRT credential, and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduation from a CoARC-approved respiratory care program.
• SC licensure as Respiratory Care Practitioner and NBRC-RRT credential.
• Current BLS for Healthcare Providers.

Responsibilities

• Provide RT modalities for adolescent and adult patients including ventilation, oxygen, and therapies.
• Perform patient assessments and adjust treatments per physician orders.
• Oversee respiratory therapy technicians and ensure documentation in hospital systems.
