Job summary

Mercy seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist for supervision in the absence of the Shift Supervisor and to perform the standard duties of an RT. The ideal candidate will hold an RRT, meet state licensure requirements, and have at least three years of critical care experience with NBRC certification.

Qualifications

• Education requires RRT credential.
• Licensure must meet state requirements.
• Three years of respiratory critical care experience.
• Pass NBRC advanced registry (RRT) exam.
• Physical demands include lifting up to 50 lbs., kneeling and crawling as needed.
• Preferred BS in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• Preferred supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision in the absence of the Shift Supervisor.
• Perform all the normal duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
