Job summary

Mercy seeks a Registered Respiratory Therapist to provide direct supervision in the absence of the Shift Supervisor and perform all standard RRT duties in a busy care unit. The role requires RRT education, state licensure, and at least three years of respiratory critical care experience with NBRC advanced registry.

Qualifications

• RRT required; NBRC advanced registry approved.
• State licensure requirements.
• Minimum of three years in respiratory critical care.
• NBRC advanced registry (RRT) examination required.
• Physical demands include push/pull up to 50 lbs, pinch up to 10 lbs, kneel, crouch, crawl.
• Preferred: BS in Respiratory Care or equivalent.
• Preferred: Supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct supervision in the absence of the Shift Supervisor and perform standard RRT duties.
• Carry out all normal duties of a Registered Respiratory Therapist.
• Perform related duties as assigned.
