Job summary

North Vista Hospital in North Las Vegas, NV is seeking a Respiratory Therapist to lead the Cardiopulmonary services, provide respiratory care, diagnostics, patient education, and support across all ages. This role is integral to a high-quality patient experience at a Prime Healthcare facility.

Required credentials include RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NRP, with a preference for 5+ years of acute/subacute respiratory care and NICU exposure.

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner license required.
• Current NBRC Registered Respiratory Therapist certification or obtained within three months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the AHA/ARC and maintained.
• Adult Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and maintained.
• Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification and maintained.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification and maintained.
• Associate or Bachelor degree in Respiratory Care preferred.
• Five+ years of acute or subacute respiratory care experience; NICU preferred.

Responsibilities

• Leads and directs the Cardiopulmonary services department and personnel.
• Provides diagnostic testing and ABG analysis; operates ventilators and related equipment.
• Ensures quality care and patient education across all ages; supports daily operations.
