Job summary

St. Francis Medical Center in Los Angeles is seeking a Respiratory Care Practitioner II to perform respiratory therapies and pulmonary diagnostics as ordered by the physician.

You may serve as Lead RCP and will focus on patient assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation with attention to age-specific needs. Requirements include a current State RCP license, NBRC RRT, BLS and ACLS, PALS, neonatal resuscitation preferred, plus an associate or bachelor’s degree and two years acute care

Qualifications

• Current State Respiratory Care Practitioner (RCP) license required.
• Current Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) from NBRC or obtained within three months of hire.
• BLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• ACLS certification from AHA or ARC upon hire and maintained.
• PALS certification from AHA upon hire and maintained or obtained within 60 days of hire.
• Neonatal Resuscitation Program certificate preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the provider.
• Emphasis on assessment, planning, implementation, and documentation of care.
• May serve as Lead RCP and assume shift responsibilities for the section or department.
