Qualifications

• State RCP license required.
• Current BCLS certificate upon hire and maintain current.
• Registered Respiratory Therapist with NBRC required.
• ACLS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• NRP certificate preferred.
• PALS certificate within 60 days of hire and maintain current.
• Associate or Bachelor’s degree required; high school diploma acceptable if no degree.

Responsibilities

• Provide respiratory therapeutic and pulmonary diagnostic procedures as ordered by the physician.
• Assess, plan, implement and document patient care with age/population considerations.
• May be designated Lead RCP and oversee the section/department during the shift in absence of a supervisor.
