Job summary

Entergy Arkansas seeks a strategic Senior Manager of Resource Planning to drive long-term generation strategy aligned with reliability, affordability and sustainability goals. You will lead the integrated resource planning process, coordinate with market and regulatory teams, and shape the procurement and testimony strategy before the Arkansas Public Service Commission.

Candidate should bring 8+ years in regulatory, finance, operations or customer service, plus strong writing and presentation

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; Master’s degree preferred.
• 8+ years of experience in regulatory, finance, operations, and customer service.
• Experience with regulatory proceedings including sponsorship of testimony and discovery responses.
• Superior writing, presentation, and speaking skills required.

Responsibilities

• Lead Integrated Resource Planning: develop and oversee IRP, balance cost, reliability, risk, and decarbonization.
• Lead the action plan implementation within EAL’s IRP and planning process.
• Develop resource strategies to serve emerging large load customers and collaborate with other planning teams.
• Ensure compliance with MISO resource adequacy requirements and support capacity offer strategy development.
• Lead preparation of regulatory filings related to resource planning, procurement, and strategy; develop testimony and manage discovery with Arkansas PSC.
• Oversee RFP processes and guide commercial negotiations; advise on resource selection decisions.
• Build relationships with executive leadership, technical teams, regulatory staff, and external stakeholders.
