Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in engineering or another related technical field.
- Typically 5+ years of relevant experience in electric utility planning or power markets.
- Experience with complex quantitative or technical analysis.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Advanced degree preferred in engineering or related field.
Responsibilities
- Support development of Integrated Resource Plan and evaluate future resource needs.
- Develop generation and energy modeling for long-range forecasts and portfolio analysis.
- Provide analytical support for investments, contracts, and major decisions.
- Develop and improve analytical tools, models, and planning processes.
- Collaborate with power production, energy marketing, and finance groups across the company.
- Manage project scope, schedules, and coordination with leadership.
- Prepare results with technical writing and non-technical presentations.
