The Senior Resource Planner leads complex analytical projects with independence and responsibility, requiring electric utility experience and mastery of resource planning tools.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's in engineering or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• 5+ years in electric utility planning or related area.
• Proven growth in technical capabilities and responsibilities.
• Experience with complex, non-routine quantitative/technical analysis.
• Strong written and verbal communication.

Responsibilities

• Support development of Integrated Resource Plan and evaluate future resource needs.
• Develop generation and energy models for long-range forecasts and portfolio analysis.
• Provide analytical support for investments, contracts, and major decisions.
• Improve tools, models and processes for resource planning.
• Collaborate with cross-functional groups across the organization.
• Manage project scope, schedules, and coordination with leadership.
• Present results to audiences without technical planning background.
