Job summary

Honda South Carolina Manufacturing is seeking an experienced Budget and Resource Planning Leader to drive BU budgeting, manpower forecasting, and efficiency initiatives onsite in Ohio/Raymond area. You will partner with HR, finance, and divisions to align resources with strategic objectives and ensure compliant, measurable outcomes.

The role requires 8+ years of leadership in project/resource planning, strong cross-functional communication, and expertise in ERP systems.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in related field (ex: Business Administration, Accounting, Finance, or Engineering). Equivalent relvant industry experience in project and/or resource management may be acceptable.
At least 8 years of demonstrable relevant experience as a project leader, project management, and/or resource planning role.
Proven experience in resource management. Understanding of regional and global business drivers for the industry (e.g. - automotive / financial).
Excellent cross functional communication, organizational skills, ability to adjust to priorities, and ability to operate independently.
Understanding of laws and policies regarding finance and labor.
Exposure to accounting and project hours tracking software (SAP, BPC, Kronos).

Responsibilities

Lead the BU and multiple divisions in budgeting, manpower planning, and data ownership for decision making.
Define targets for BU Efficiency and Risk and measure capacity and output.
Benchmark industry standards and source external consultants when needed.
Lead and support efficiency improvement themes for manpower and budget and collaborate with division management.
Roll up BU level reports for division and BU management and maintain plan vs actual values.
