Job summary

Honda is seeking a Purchasing professional to procure and coordinate raw materials for Anna Engine Plant and TMP Ohio, ensuring on-time delivery and cost reduction efforts. You will coordinate with steel, aluminum, resin, and scrap suppliers, and act as the on-site HTA representative, driving supplier performance and cross-functional collaboration.

Ideal candidates have 3+ years in purchasing or sales, strong interpersonal skills, and a solid understanding of cost factors impacting

Qualifications

• 3+ years of Purchasing or Sales experience (Required)
• Customer service experience (Required)
• Basic knowledge of cost accounting (Preferred)

Responsibilities

• Ensure on-time delivery and accurate orders; manage inventory and supplier follow-up.
• Improve customer service; visit facilities and support multiple commodities.
• Act as HTA representative to Honda plants; coordinate communication with suppliers.
• Lead cost reduction and development projects with internal teams and suppliers.
• Support on-site labor needs and annual cost negotiations; maintain stakeholder communication.
• Report on sales, costs and margins; ensure timely inventory turnover.
• Develop daily operating procedures; ensure accurate documentation (MSAs, records).
• Communicate potential problems to management and drive improvements.
