Job summary

Mauna Kea Resort seeks an experienced Project Manager to lead capital and development projects, coordinating with third-party contractors, consultants, and internal teams. The role emphasizes safety, budget adherence, and regulatory compliance across multiple properties on Hawaiʻi Island.

You will manage project scopes from planning through turnover, maintain schedules, and build strong relationships with government agencies and stakeholders to ensure timely delivery and high-quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, Project Management, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Minimum ten (10) years progressive experience in construction, development, facilities management, or project management.
• Minimum five (5) years of experience managing large-scale capital, construction, renovation, or development projects.

Responsibilities

• Oversee capital and non-capital projects with third-party contractors and vendors.
• Manage projects from planning/design through construction, closeout, and turnover.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, county, and company regulations and standards.
• Coordinate with architects, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to meet objectives.
• Monitor schedules, budgets, quality, and operational impacts across all phases.
• Lead or participate in Owner-Architect-Contractor (OAC) meetings and other coordination meetings.
