Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Senior Manager Resilience Lead to oversee a team responsible for protecting personnel, operations, and assets during disruptive events. You will develop contingency playbooks, coordinate Crisis Management Team activations, and drive resilience improvements across global networks.

This leadership role partners with WWOS, Operations, CX, and Transport to translate security policies into actionable plans and to maintain 24/7 coverage through a Follow-the-Sun model.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or above in a related field.
• Experience managing direct reports and leading a high-performing team.
• 7+ years in compliance, audit or risk management.
• 5+ years in program or project management.
• Advanced skills with Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio and MS Project.

Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain end-to-end contingency playbooks for capacity loss and disruption scenarios.
• Coordinate Crisis Management Team activations for multi-site events and leadership communications.
• Build resilience capabilities by training teams and exercising plans.
• Partner with Operations, CX and GSOC to understand network flows and impacts of disruptions.
• Own governance for workstreams with metrics, dashboards, reporting, and cadence with stakeholders.
• Drive continuous improvement via after-action reviews and root-cause analysis.
