Kinterra Design Build in the Denver Metro Area, CO is seeking a Superintendent with residential remodeling experience to own field operations, coordinate subcontractors, manage construction sequencing, monitor workmanship, and maintain a safe, organized job site.

The ideal candidate reads drawings, follows plans and building codes, keeps projects on schedule, communicates clearly with homeowners and leadership, and contributes to growth in a growing design-build firm.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in residential construction, remodeling, field supervision, or a comparable role.
• Experience coordinating subcontractors and managing day-to-day job-site activities.
• Understanding of residential construction sequencing, materials, and building methods.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings, plans, and specifications.
• Knowledge of building codes, permitting, and job-site safety practices.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to manage competing priorities across active projects.
• Good judgment and practical problem-solving, including timely field decisions.
• Clear communication and ability to hold trade partners accountable.
• Reliable follow-through, attention to detail, commitment to quality workmanship.
• Comfortable working in a growing business with evolving processes.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily field operations and coordinate subcontractors, trades, deliveries, and materials.
• Monitor schedule progress and identify delays; coordinate next steps to keep work moving.
• Communicate expectations and readiness with subcontractors; track deadlines.
• Inspect work; address deficiencies before progressing.
• Make day-to-day decisions; escalate significant issues with solutions.
• Work from plans, specifications, and applicable building codes.
• Coordinate materials, deliveries, access, and site readiness.
• Promote a safe, organized job site throughout construction.
• Provide leadership updates on progress, risks, and decisions.
• Maintain professionalism with homeowners and coordinate occupancy.
• Document site activity and progress with accurate records.
