Job summary

Autism Delaware Inc. is seeking an experienced Residential Manager to oversee multiple single-placement homes serving adults with autism and related disabilities.

You will provide leadership, ensure person-centered, compliant operations, supervise staff, manage health and safety, and partner with families and state agencies to support independent living. Travel between locations is required; this role offers meaningful work, competitive compensation, and opportunities to advance within POW&R

Qualifications

• Passionate about supporting adults with autism and related disabilities.
• Experience in residential services, staff supervision, and program management.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Able to manage multiple priorities and locations.
• Knowledge of person-centered practices and regulatory requirements.
• Flexible and available for a 24/7 residential program.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct supervision, coaching, and support to residential staff across multiple homes.
• Ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centered services aligned with individual plans.
• Oversee daily operations, including staffing, scheduling, and coverage needs.
• Monitor participant health, safety, medical appointments, and wellbeing.
• Support individuals with behavioral, communication, and independent living needs.
• Ensure compliance with agency policies, regulations, and documentation standards.
• Conduct regular home visits, quality reviews, and staff evaluations.
• Assist with incident management, investigations, and follow-up actions.
• Collaborate with families, guardians, state agencies, healthcare providers, and stakeholders.
• Develop and implement individual support plans and goals.
• Monitor household budgets, purchasing needs, and maintenance.
• Assist with recruitment, onboarding, training, and retention of staff.
• Provide on-call support and respond to emergencies as needed.
• Promote a positive team culture focused on collaboration and excellence.
• Work on-shift weekly.
