Job summary

The Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes. You will inspect properties, identify repairs, and determine the best course of action for ongoing upkeep, including seasonal tasks and safety checks.

You will manage tool procurement, arrange in-house or outside service, maintain vehicles, and document work orders, checklists, and purchases.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 4 years' experience in electrical, mechanical, and preventive maintenance.
• Valid driver's license, acceptable driving record, and a Motor Vehicle Check.
• Background check requirements as part of employment process.

Responsibilities

• Inspect properties and identify needed repairs and maintenance.
• Arrange in-house or outside service for repairs and maintenance tasks.
• Provide lawn care and snow removal; purchase tools, supplies, and parts.
• Maintain program vehicles and document work orders, mileage, purchases, and receipts.
