Job summary

Lutheran Social Service of Minnesota is seeking a Senior Maintenance Worker to perform maintenance and repair tasks across multiple residential homes. You will inspect facilities, plan repairs, and coordinate in-house or external services as needed.

The role requires at least four years of electrical, mechanical, and preventative maintenance experience, plus a valid driver’s license and the ability to pass a background check. Familiarity with computer systems used by LSS is expected.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years’ experience in electrical, mechanical and preventative maintenance.
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
• Must pass a background check.
• Computer skills to support LSS technology.

Responsibilities

• Provide maintenance and repair services for multiple residential homes.
• Inspect properties, including furniture and appliances, for needed repairs.
• Arrange for in-house or outside service for repairs and maintenance.
• Provide or arrange lawn care and snow removal; manage tools, supplies and small equipment.
• Complete documentation such as maintenance checklists, work orders and purchases.
