Qualifications

• Two+ years of experience in loan processing; 3–5 years preferred.
• Elevated knowledge of loan compliance, regulatory issues, and documentation.
• Solid understanding of the loan application and loan closing process.
• Strong written and verbal communication, organizational, interpersonal skills.
• Commitment to ongoing learning and excellent customer service.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office; comfortable learning new software.

Responsibilities

• Provides courteous service to internal and external customers while facilitating the loan process.
• Researches Fannie Mae/Freddie Mac tools to resolve file requirements.
• Updates loan data in LOS and investors' websites; assists loan officers.
• Interacts with real estate agents, attorneys, title companies to resolve mortgage issues.
• Assembles and verifies residential loan documents; ensures proper signatures/dates.
• Prepares loan packages and disclosure documents; supports timely closings.
