Job summary

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; HVAC cert preferred.
• 3–4 years of HVAC systems maintenance/installation experience.
• EPA 608 certification required for refrigerant handling.
• Read and interpret plans; California driver’s license required.
• Must communicate effectively in English; basic computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Conduct daily field visits to service area jobsites and coordinate with dispatch.
• Maintain and repair residential HVAC systems, including basic and advanced maintenance.
• Diagnose and repair electronic, mechanical, and electrical components.
• Explain issues to customers and troubleshoot system malfunctions.
• Document inspections, repairs, and installed equipment with details.
• Train new staff and ensure van is fully equipped for new employees.
• Perform all other duties as assigned by Service/Warranty Manager.
