Job summary
Blue Mountain Construction Services in Vacaville, CA is hiring an Experienced Residential HVAC Technician II to inspect, service, and repair residential heating and air conditioning systems. The role includes troubleshooting warranty issues, diagnosing problems, and communicating effectively with customers.
The candidate will conduct field visits, maintain equipment, read blueprints, and collaborate with the Service/Warranty Manager.
Qualifications
- HVAC experience with residential systems and service/maintenance.
- EPA 608 Certification for refrigerant handling required.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and plans.
Responsibilities
- Perform daily field visits to service/warranty jobs in the assigned area.
- Maintain and repair residential HVAC systems; troubleshoot and repair components.
- Inspect and diagnose electronic, mechanical, and electrical parts; document findings.
- Communicate clearly with customers and explain issues and solutions.
- Coordinate with manager/estimating/install teams on design and warranty issues.
- Train new HVAC service staff and ensure vehicle is stocked and ready.
- Document inspections, repairs, and installed equipment thoroughly.
