Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Superintendent II to oversee daily residential construction activities within an assigned community, ensuring schedule, quality, safety, and customer satisfaction.

You will coordinate trade partners, inspectors, and vendors, with accountability and autonomy to drive production. Responsibilities include directing trade partners, inspecting work for compliance, and managing documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Minimum 2 years of relevant residential construction or field management experience.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or 6–8 years of equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day residential construction activities within assigned community/phase.
• Direct and supervise trade partners and subcontractors for performance and safety.
• Inspect and approve completed work for compliance with plans and codes.
• Enforce safety programs and environmental standards; take corrective action as needed.
• Coordinate municipal inspections and Certificates of Occupancy.
• Monitor progress and adjust sequencing/resources to meet targets.
• Ensure timely jobsite documentation and reporting.
• Lead homeowner orientations and resolve issues with sales/customer relations.
• Provide training and mentorship to Superintendent I staff.
