Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking an Assistant Superintendent to support day‑to‑day field operations on active residential construction sites.

You will work under supervision with superintendents, trade partners, and internal teams to ensure plans and standards are met while focusing on learning and developing construction management capabilities. Responsibilities include coordinating trade activities, inspections, and safety, with mentorship provided to Assistant Superintendents.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering, or related field preferred (or 4 years equivalent experience).
• Experience managing multiple homes or production schedules simultaneously.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily residential construction activities per schedules and quality standards.
• Coordinate trade partner activities and ensure timely work completion.
• Perform routine inspections and report deviations in quality or safety.
• Monitor jobsite safety per OSHA and company programs.
• Assist with scheduling and municipal inspections and permits.
• Mentor and train Assistant Superintendents.
