Job summary

Sekisui House U.S., Inc. is seeking a Superintendent I to support residential construction activities in Corvallis and Salem, Oregon.

The role involves assisting with day-to-day field operations under direct supervision, contributing to schedule, quality, and safety objectives, and building core construction management capabilities. Candidates should have reliable transportation and be willing to move between communities in Corvallis and Salem.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Bachelor's degree in construction management, engineering, or related field; or 4 years of equivalent experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Execute daily residential construction activities for assigned homes in accordance with schedules and company quality standards.
• Coordinate trade partner activities and verify completion within approved scopes and timelines.
• Perform routine inspections and report quality, safety, or plan deviations to the supervisor.
• Monitor jobsite safety and enforce OSHA and company safety programs.
• Assist with scheduling and supporting municipal inspections and permit-related activities.
• Participate in homeowner orientations and walk-throughs, escalate concerns as appropriate.
• Maintain accurate jobsite documentation, schedules, and inspection records.
• Support team workflow by identifying issues and assisting with corrective actions.
• Provide mentorship and training to Assistant Superintendents.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
