Job summary

HDR, Inc. in Indiana seeks a Resident Project Representative II to support construction projects on site. You will read drawings, track progress, and prepare pay estimates while maintaining daily records for the contractor's activities.

Under the Design Project Manager, you will supervise junior staff, attend progress meetings, and ensure contract compliance. Travel to client sites may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or equivalent experience.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts and construction codes.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specs.
• Computer literacy with MS Office and Primavera or related tools.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment, materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance and track quantities for pay estimates.
• Attend and chair construction progress meetings; supervise junior staff.
• Observe installation and testing of equipment and systems; develop punch lists.
• Develop record documentation for engineer review and assist with audits/closeout.
