Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Resident Project Representative to join our Building Engineering Services Group in Indiana. You will read and interpret construction drawings, track progress, and ensure contract compliance on multidisciplinary projects.

The role requires 10+ years of construction experience, strong communication, and the ability to coordinate with contractors, clients, and engineers on site. Travel to client locations is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• 10+ years of progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts; familiarity with codes and laws governing construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications and identify discrepancies.
• Team player with strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Willingness to travel and work onsite at client locations.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specifications; identify discrepancies.
• Maintain daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance and track quantities for pay estimates.
• Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings.
• Coordinate with contractors, clients, inspectors and project team members; manage multiple priorities.
