Job summary

HDR is seeking a Senior Resident Project Representative to lead field activities in Indiana and coordinate with contractors to ensure drawing interpretations and contract compliance. The role includes maintaining daily field records, tracking quantities, and guiding inspection and testing of systems.

You will collaborate with engineers and project teams, review materials, develop punch lists, and support closeout processes across multi-discipline projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Technology, or related field.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive construction experience on multidisciplinary projects.
• Fundamental understanding of contracts and codes governing construction.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and specifications.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Responsibilities

• Read and interpret construction drawings and specs, flag discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate daily records of contractor activities, labor, equipment, and materials.
• Review materials for contract compliance.
• Track quantities and develop pay estimates for acceptance.
• Attend and/or chair construction progress meetings.
• Observe installation and testing of equipment and systems.
• Develop punch lists and ensure corrective action.
• Prepare record documentation for engineer review.
• Assist with project audits and closeout.
• Supervise junior staff and subconsultants.
