Job summary

Tectonic is seeking an experienced Resident Engineer to lead field inspection and construction supervision for NYCDEP water and wastewater projects in the Hudson Valley. This full-time, on-site role requires strong leadership and a solid track record managing heavy infrastructure work.

Candidates must hold a NY P.E. license, 10+ years of construction management, and proficiency with E-Builder, MS Office, Bluebeam, and related tools.

Qualifications

• Valid NY P.E. license with civil/construction degree.
• Minimum 10 years of progressive construction management experience.
• Experience as Resident Engineer on heavy infrastructure projects.
• Proficiency in E-Builder, MS Office, Bluebeam, estimating and scheduling tools.

Responsibilities

• Supervise construction from NTP to close-out on public infrastructure projects.
• Oversee field construction to ensure code and contract compliance.
• Lead field inspection staff and coordinate all project inspection phases.
• Prepare and certify pay applications with supporting documentation.
• Issue change orders and document contractor performance as required.
