Platinum Global Talent Solutions Ltd. is seeking a Senior Resident Engineer for the Hudson Tunnel Project.

You will lead on-site construction activities, supervise excavation and SEM tunnelling operations, coordinate with contractors and engineers, and enforce EH&S protocols to deliver a high-profile transit project in the Northeast Corridor. The role requires a strong track record in heavy civil construction, SEM tunnelling and shaft work, with exceptional reporting and communication skills to

Qualifications

• 10+ years of experience in heavy civil construction with shafts, excavation and tunnelling.
• Preference for SEM tunnelling, TBMs, shotcrete lining, shaft construction experience.
• Strong liaison and coordination capabilities between contractors, site supervisors, and project engineers.
• Proven track record enforcing safety protocols and environmental, health and safety regulations.
• Excellent skills in preparing detailed on-site reports and records.
• Expertise in identifying and resolving on-site engineering and construction issues.

Responsibilities

• Supervise daily on-site construction activities ensuring compliance with plans and specs, focusing on shafts, excavation and SEM tunnelling.
• Liaise between contractors, site supervision and project engineers to resolve on-site issues and align objectives.
• Enforce safety protocols and monitor compliance with EH&S regulations for heavy civil tunnelling work.
• Prepare thorough daily/weekly progress reports, site conditions, and incident documentation.
• Identify and resolve on-site engineering and construction issues as they arise.
