WSP is seeking a Resident Engineer to join our Construction Management Team in San Bernardino, CA, or Irvine, CA. The role supports complex construction management projects across roadway, rail, and related disciplines in the Inland Empire and Southern California region.

You will lead field engineering, inspection, and contract administration, ensure safety compliance, and coordinate with owners, utilities, and contractors. A California PE and 12+ years of experience are required.

Qualificações

• BSCE or related degree required.
• Current California PE license required.
• Minimum 12 years of experience, 5 as Resident Engineer.
• Valid CA driver's license.
• Experience working with railroads.
• Knowledge of applicable codes, standards and materials.
• Ability to read and understand contract documents.
• Caltrans experience preferred.
• Bridge construction experience preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Understand public construction contracts for state highway systems and local agencies.
• Respond to and resolve field construction issues.
• Conduct meetings between contractor, owner, utilities and other project parties.
• Inspect, document, and coordinate field tests of construction materials.
• Analyze construction costs of changed conditions and draft change orders.
• Prepare constructability reviews and reports.
• Oversee field engineering, contract administration, inspection, testing, surveying and QC.
• Supervise field inspection and field office personnel.
• Represent projects at meetings and conferences.
• Uphold ethical standards regarding funds and conduct per company policy.
