Job summary

LSU New Orleans is seeking an Assistant Director of Residential Life for a full-time, 12-month, live-in position overseeing a large residential community. The role includes supervision of graduate assistants and a student workforce, staff training, and coordinating housing operations.

The incumbent will implement the department's educational plan, advise student organizations, mediate conflicts, and manage on-call crises and safety procedures while living on-site.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution.
• Minimum of two years of full-time experience in a housing/residential life role.
• Valid driver's license.
• Successful completion of a criminal background check.

Responsibilities

• Directly supervise staff including Graduate Assistants and student workers.
• Develop and implement residential curriculum and community engagement.
• Oversee daily operations, housing records, budgets, and purchasing.
