Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree is required.
• Minimum of two years of related experience in residence life or student housing.

Responsibilities

• Maintains regular daily office hours and is highly visible to residents and staff.
• Supervises, trains, motivates, and evaluates residence hall staff including graduate assistants and student workers.
• Develops staff development programs for resident assistants and staff.
• Supports programs for wellness, engagement and student development.
• Administers student conduct processes in coordination with relevant offices.
• Enforces university and departmental policies and maintains occupancy records.
• Collaborates with housekeeping and facilities to maintain residence hall operations.
• Responds professionally to concerns from students, parents and staff.
• Serves on departmental committees and participates in campus-wide initiatives.
• Oversees residence hall assignments and maintains accurate room records.
• Performs other duties to support University Housing and student life.

Education
