Job summary

La Salle University invites applications for the Area Coordinator, Residence Life. This full-time, 12-month, live-in role oversees residential communities, crisis duty rotation, and staff supervision in the Residence Life office within the Division of Student Development and Campus Life (SDCL).

You will train Graduate Assistants and Resident Assistants, manage programming and budgets, and partner with campus services to support student engagement, academic success, and wellbeing in an inclusive

Qualifications

Experience supervising graduate and undergraduate staff in a residential setting.
Ability to train and develop student staff across multiple buildings.
Experience coordinating crisis response and on-call duties.
Proven skills in planning community programs and events.
Ability to manage budgets and program tracking processes.

Responsibilities

Directly supervise Graduate Assistants and Resident Assistants/Community Assistants.
Train staff during initial and ongoing programs and evaluate outcomes.
Coordinate residence hall operations, openings/closings, and safety inspections.
Represent Residence Life at admissions, orientation and campus events.
Manage programming budgets and track staff requirements and impact.
Lead on-call crisis response and student welfare referrals.
