Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent is required.
• A valid in-State Driver's License preferred.

Responsibilities

• Directs and coordinates activities of residential advisors on the assigned shift.
• Oversees residential activities within the dormitory to ensure program coordination and student discipline.
• Prepares records and reports and maintains documentation for assigned shift.
• Assists in training and evaluating residential living staff.
• Performs administrative duties for passes, leaves, evaluations, progress reports, emergencies, terminations, etc.
• Ensures safety and proper student behavior in the dormitories.
• Communicates with families by mail and phone to resolve problems and assure student well-being.
• Coordinates dormitory activities including entertainment, unit competitions, and unit courts.
• Inspects dormitory areas and recommends facility maintenance.
• Directs dorm patrol and daily cleanup.
• Requisitions supplies to support dorm living and safety of students.
• Arranges student visits to counselors and reviews problems with counselors.
• Participates in orientation activities and social skills training as assigned.
• Maintains student records and updates center information system regularly.
• Provides positive customer services to students, staff and center customers.
• Overtime may be required; regular attendance is expected.
• Supports zero tolerance policy and promotes Career Success Standards by mentoring students.
