Job summary

Omni Barton Creek Resort & Spa in Austin seeks a seasoned Reservations leader to oversee Guest Experience Planners and Group Rooms Coordinators. You will coach staff, ensure system proficiency (Opera Cloud, ORS, FDC), and drive Forbes standards to elevate guest service.

You will partner with operations to balance inventory, coordinate group blocks, and deliver an elevated guest experience through strong leadership and analytics.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of customer-facing experience in the hotel/hospitality industry is required.
• Experience in Reservations or Front Office is preferred.
• A minimum of 2 years of supervisory experience is preferred.
• Demonstrate the ability to foster a positive work environment through teaching, training, and coaching hourly associates, ensuring accountability among team members.
• Must have proficiency in Microsoft Excel and be able to work efficiently in various electronic database programs.

Responsibilities

• Manage on-property Group Rooms Coordinators and Guest Experience Planners.
• Assist with Guest Experience Planner or Group Rooms Coordinator duties as needed.
• Lead daily reservation stand-up meetings sharing Omni/resort news and prioritizing tasks.
• Provide ongoing coaching and development for ESPs and GRCs.
• Coach Reservations team on Forbes standards and SOPs to pursue Forbes certification.
• Maintain knowledge of resort systems and ensure Reservations team proficiency.
• Provide training on Opera Cloud, FDC Extranets, and related systems.
