Job summary

Safelite seeks a seasoned user research leader to shape critical questions, identify where customer understanding changes direction, and translate insights into roadmaps and product strategy. You’ll connect qualitative research, behavioral data, and analytics to inform decisions across teams.

Lead and elevate the research practice, mentor researchers, designers, and PMs, and explore AI-enabled experiences with a focus on trust, transparency, and measurable business impact.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent work experience in a product organization.
• 10+ years of user research, design research, or related experience in a product organization.
• Deep fluency across qualitative and quantitative research methods with strong judgment about which approach fits the question and decision.
• Experience building or significantly advancing a research practice including scalable discovery models.
• Experience mentoring researchers, designers, and product managers on research craft and judgment.

Responsibilities

• Lead foundational and strategic research informing product strategy and roadmap.
• Mentor researchers, designers, and product managers on framing questions and applying evidence.
• Translate research into frameworks, narratives, and decision tools for senior leaders.
• Advance research for AI-enabled experiences, studying trust, control, and handoffs as experiences become dynamic.
