The role focuses on NEC mechanisms and the development of preventative/therapeutic approaches, using mouse models and advanced imaging and transcriptomic techniques. Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a scientific major or related field.
• 5+ years of lab/bench or relevant experience with mouse models.
• Background in blood or lymphatic biology, GI research, immunology or related fields.

Responsibilities

• Act as technical expert and optimize protocols for complex experiments.
• Review results and revise protocols to meet project objectives.
• Manage lab databases and analyze data; create graphs and reports.
• Co-author scientific papers for presentation and publication.
• Seek funding and manage lab budgets.
• Maintain lab manuals and safety procedures.
• Oversee lab equipment maintenance and supplies.
