Job summary

Ann & Robert H. Lurie Children’s Hospital of Chicago is seeking a Research Technologist II to support experimental research in the Xiao-Nan Li Lab.

The role involves performing basic experiments, data analysis, and presenting results with charts and graphs in a collaborative, high-standard pediatric research environment. Required is a Bachelor's in Biomedical Science with strong English communication skills, plus the ability to work independently and within a team in a structured lab setting at

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Biomedical Science or related field is required.
• Minimum 1 year of experience working with diverse groups.
• Strong written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Support lab research by performing routine experiments and data collection.
• Analyze protocols and data, suggest improvements for validity and accuracy.
• Maintain detailed records of results and prepare charts/graphs for presentations/publications.
• Calibrate and validate laboratory equipment to ensure accuracy and precision.
• Order supplies and manage inventory of reagents and lab materials.
• Assist in grant applications, manuscripts and publications.
